Spot unsafe acts, find defects sooner and answer outage calls in every local language

We build computer vision, document, voice and AI security systems for mining, power, renewables and utility operators. They assist your people and sit beside your existing safety, SCADA, CMMS and billing systems.

Energy, mining and utility operators run large, spread-out assets with small supervisory teams, and much of their operating knowledge sits in camera feeds, drone images, scanned test reports and phone calls. That is where applied AI helps today: watching existing CCTV for unsafe acts near haul roads and conveyors, turning thermography and meter photos into checked records, extracting readings from inspection reports, and answering outage and billing calls in Hindi and regional languages. It does not replace statutory safety systems, protection relays, gas monitoring or the judgement of a mine manager or shift engineer, and it should never write to control systems. We build assistive systems that sit beside your SCADA, CMMS and billing platforms, with people approving every consequential action.

Challenges we hear

Too few eyes on large sites

Opencast benches, haul roads, conveyor galleries and solar blocks stretch over kilometres, and control rooms cannot watch every camera feed in every shift.

Inspection data trapped in images and PDFs

Drone thermography, transformer test reports and maintenance job cards arrive in vendor formats, so trends and repeat defects are hard to see across sites and years.

Call spikes during outages

A feeder trip or storm brings a surge of no-supply calls in several languages at once, and safety calls such as a snapped conductor must not wait in the same queue.

AI arriving close to operational technology

Copilots that read historian data, manuals and work orders sit near the IT/OT boundary, which raises new risks around prompt injection, data leakage and tool permissions.

Use cases

Regulatory context

Mine safety law and DGMS (India)

Mine safety in India is governed by central mine safety legislation and regulations enforced by the Directorate General of Mines Safety. AI monitoring can support supervision and safety records, but it does not replace statutory duties, inspections or safety systems.

Electricity Act 2003, CEA regulations and consumer rights rules

Distribution utilities operate under the Electricity Act 2003, Central Electricity Authority safety regulations and state supply codes, and the Electricity (Rights of Consumers) Rules, 2020 set expectations on complaint handling, metering and billing. Obligations stay with the licensee.

CEA cyber security guidelines and IEC 62443

Power-sector entities follow CEA cyber security guidelines and CERT-In directions, and IEC 62443 is the widely used standard family for industrial control system security. AI that touches OT data should respect these zone and access boundaries.

DPDP Act 2023 (India)

Consumer records, call recordings, worker video and geotagged meter photos are personal data, so notice, purpose limitation, retention limits and security safeguards apply.

FAQs

01Can computer vision replace our statutory safety systems or supervisors?

No. Vision alerts help supervisors and control rooms notice unsafe acts sooner, but they sit alongside proximity warning devices, gas monitoring, interlocks, blasting procedures and statutory inspections. Every alert goes to a person who decides what to do.

02Will this work at remote sites with weak connectivity?

Yes, if it is designed for it. Video models run on edge hardware at site and store events locally when the link drops, and voice reporting apps queue recordings offline. Only events, summaries and approved records need to travel to central systems.

03Do your systems connect to SCADA or DCS?

Only in read-only mode, usually through a historian or a DMZ replica, and only where your OT security team agrees. Our systems do not send control commands, and integrations respect zone and conduit boundaries of the kind IEC 62443 describes.

04Which languages can the voice agents handle?

Hindi and Hinglish, plus regional languages chosen for your service area, such as Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu or Kannada. We test recognition on recordings from your own callers and field staff during the pilot, including technical terms and local place names.
