Client Intake Voice Agent
Answer inbound enquiries in Hindi and English, record facts and parties for a conflict check, spot urgent matters for an on-call advocate and book consultations, without giving legal advice.
Who it is for
- Managing Partner
- Practice Head
- Office Manager (Law Firm)
- Legal Aid Programme Coordinator
The problem
Firms handling property, family, consumer, employment and cheque dishonour matters get calls all day and after hours from people who are anxious and unsure what they need. Partners are in court, juniors answer between tasks, and important details such as opposing parties or an upcoming date go unrecorded, so conflict checks and urgent matters are delayed.
Missed and unstructured calls
Calls during court hours go unanswered, and notes from answered calls lack the facts needed to assess the matter.
Conflict checks happen too late
Opposing party names are not collected up front, so a conflict is discovered only after a consultation has been booked or held.
Urgency not recognised
A caller with a hearing tomorrow, a limitation date approaching or fear of arrest needs a lawyer now, not a call-back next week.
Callers ask for advice
Staff and tools are pushed to say whether the caller has a case, which only a lawyer should answer.
What we build
We build an inbound intake agent that answers the firm's enquiry line, says it is an AI assistant that cannot give legal advice, and asks for consent to record. In Hindi, English or a mix, it collects the caller's details, the type of matter, a short account of what happened, the names of other parties and any upcoming dates or deadlines. Urgent situations are transferred to the on-call advocate. Other enquiries go through a conflict check against your client and party records, and possible conflicts go to a partner before anything is booked. Cleared enquiries are booked for consultation, with a document checklist sent on WhatsApp.

FAQs
01Will callers think they are getting legal advice?
The agent says clearly at the start, and whenever asked, that it is an AI assistant and cannot give legal advice. It collects information and books time with a lawyer.
02Is this consistent with Bar Council rules?
The agent only answers inbound calls to your own number and does not solicit work or advertise. We recommend your partners review the scripts against the rules your firm follows.
03How does the conflict check work?
The agent collects the caller's name and the names of other parties and checks them against your client and party database. Possible matches go to a partner before any consultation is booked.
04What happens in an emergency?
Callers who mention an imminent hearing, arrest or danger are transferred to a person at once, and given emergency numbers if they are in danger, following your firm's policy.
