The problem
Every trading and demat account starts with a KYC packet: PAN, masked Aadhaar or DigiLocker e-KYC, address and bank proof, signature, in-person verification and nomination details, plus income proof if the client wants derivatives. Checkers verify each packet before upload to a KRA, and volumes surge whenever a popular IPO opens.
Name and address mismatches
Small differences between PAN, Aadhaar, bank records and the application lead to KRA rejections that send the client back to the start.
Derivatives activation needs judgement
Income proofs range from ITRs and salary slips to bank statements and holding statements, and checkers must confirm each meets your policy.
Non-individual and NRI files are slow
Company, partnership, trust, HUF and NRI accounts each need different documents, and missing items surface late.
Checker queues spike unpredictably
IPO openings and market rallies bring sudden volume, and quality slips when checkers rush.
What we build
We build a maker-checker assistant for your onboarding team. It classifies every document in the packet, extracts names, dates of birth, PAN, addresses, bank details and signatures, and cross-matches them with each other and with the record fetched from the KRA or CKYC. It applies checklists for the client's entity type and requested segments, checks that derivatives requests carry an acceptable income proof, and confirms expiry dates and legibility. Mismatches and missing items become a discrepancy list with document references and a drafted message for the client. Clean files go to a checker for fast approval; no account is approved without a person.
- Classifies PAN, masked Aadhaar or DigiLocker e-KYC, address proofs, bank proofs, income proofs and entity documents
- Cross-matches name, date of birth, address and PAN across documents and the KRA or CKYC record
- Applies checklists by entity type: individual, NRI, HUF, partnership, company or trust
- Checks that derivatives segment requests carry an acceptable income proof under your policy
- Verifies presence of signature, photograph, nomination or opt-out declaration and FATCA self-certification
- Produces a discrepancy list and a drafted client message, with a maker-checker audit trail
How it works
- 01Receive the packetThe application and documents arrive from your e-KYC journey, branch or partner channel.
- 02Classify and extractEach document is identified and key fields are extracted, with Aadhaar masked on capture.
- 03Cross-match recordsFields are compared across documents and with the KRA or CKYC record.
- 04Apply checklistsEntity-type and segment checklists confirm the required documents and an acceptable income proof.
- 05Checker reviewFiles with discrepancies go to a checker with a drafted client message; clean files go to a checker for fast approval.
- 06Upload and recordApproved records are uploaded to the KRA and back office, and the audit trail is stored.

A checker approves every account, including clean files on the fast track, and resolves each discrepancy. Compliance owns the checklists and acceptable-document rules; the assistant applies them and never overrides a KRA status.
Integrations
- Onboarding and e-KYC platform
- KRA and CKYC interfaces through your existing integration
- DigiLocker
- Broking back-office system

Compliance notes
- SEBI KYC norms and the KRA framework set what must be collected and verified; the assistant applies your documented checklist and records the maker-checker trail.
- Aadhaar is handled per UIDAI rules, and personal data under the DPDP Act 2023.

FAQs
01Does it handle NRI and corporate accounts?
Yes. Each entity type has its own checklist, for example board resolutions and authorised signatory lists for companies, or overseas address and bank details for NRIs. A typical pilot starts with resident individuals and adds these next.
02Do you store Aadhaar numbers?
No. Aadhaar is masked at capture and handled per UIDAI rules. Where DigiLocker or offline e-KYC is used, only the fields your process needs are kept.
03Will it auto-approve clean applications?
No. Clean files move to a fast-track queue, but a checker still approves each one. This keeps the maker-checker control your compliance team relies on.
04Can it compare signatures?
It checks that a signature is present and legible and can flag obvious differences between the form and other documents. The final signature judgement stays with the checker.
